Daffodils are one of the first bright notes in my spring garden, their cheerful blooms catching the light after a long winter. I have come to appreciate them not only for their beauty, but for their quiet resilience. While tulips tend to disappear to curious squirrels and rabbits, daffodils return year after year, marking the start of the season and welcoming spring back into the garden.
