Honey Clay Mask
Our new and improved Honey Clay Mask is a decadent and beloved treat for the skin and senses, formulated to cleanse, nourish, hydrate and gently exfoliate, while enveloping the senses with it's pudding-like texture and intoxicating aroma.
Key ingredients:
Kaolin clay absorbs excess sebum, helping to keep pores clear. It is super gentle for even the most sensitive skin.
Rhassoul is a mineral-dense and detoxifying clay. Rich in magnesium and potassium, minerals thought to be absorbed through the skin barrier to condition and strengthen the skin while supporting skin barrier function. Rhassoul's unique honeycomb structure allows for greater absorption and gentle manual exfoliation without stripping the skin.
Honey is simply amazing for skincare! A magical substance involving enzymes, plant material and living bacteria made by well loved local bees! Honey is naturally antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory, and can help soothe redness and irritation while also drawing moisture to the skin. The organic acid and enzymes in honey make it gently exfoliating, yet suitable for sensitive skin.
Marula oil, an amazing ingredient for all skin types and quite similar to our own sebum, is used for it's skin softening, moisture retaining, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Cacao (not just for dessert) is rich in fatty acids which hydrate, nourish, improve elasticity and skin barrier function. It is also rich in natural plant compounds called phytochemicals that may improve blood flow and provide protection from damage caused by UV rays. It also smells amazing and feels very decadent.
Witch hazel contains salicylic acid which helps exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin cells.

How to use:
(always use clean, dry hands or a spatula to remove product from the jar)
as a cleanser - scoop out a quarter sized dollop and apply to face and upper neck. Gently massage in circular, upward motion. Rinse with water or a dampened wash cloth. (We love applying before the shower and then rinsing off at the end)
as a mask - after cleansing, when the skin is warm and the pores open, remove a quarter sized amount from the jar. With fingers or a brush, start applying the product at the upper neck and work upward to cover the face. Let rest for 10-15 minutes and gently massage away with warm water or a damp washcloth.
