Apple Beeswax Candle
3.25" tall x 3.5" wide with pure cotton square braided wick.
One day a few years ago I had the wonderful experience of stumbling upon Robert Frost's cabin in the southern Vermont woods. And I saw this huge apple tree outside the cabin, full of really delicious apples. Maybe that tree inspired his poem "After Apple-Picking":
"My long two-pointed ladder’s sticking through a tree
Toward heaven still,
And there’s a barrel that I didn’t fill
Beside it, and there may be two or three
Apples I didn’t pick upon some bough. 5
But I am done with apple-picking now.
Essence of winter sleep is on the night,
The scent of apples: I am drowsing off..."
In honour of that Robert Frost tree, here's a handmade APPLE CANDLE, poured in pure 100% beeswax that I filter myself.
